Lost Gardens of Heligan by Michelle Yeo was created to celebrate her wonderful friendship with Ingrid. A few years ago, Michelle met Ingrid at a sewing group and they bonded over their shared passion for quilting, especially early 19th-century antique quilts. Ingrid’s family name, on her father’s side, is St Austell-Moyle. After googling her family name, they stumbled upon the Lost Gardens of Heligan. This collection is a tribute to their friendship and Ingrid’s generosity in allowing Michelle to reproduce some of her antique prints.
This collection features 22 versatile prints, including a stunning pillar print in caramel and light teal, a beautiful floral vine, an exquisite large and more. For lovers of Broderie Perse, the prints can be cut into individual flowers and then rearranged to create an amazing new applique design. Be sure to use Michelle’s classic serpentine print available in 3 unique colors. It is perfect for narrow borders and creating movement within a quilt. Get your hands on this charming collection by Michelle Yeo and do not forget to pair it with her new Abstract Whole Cloth 108” design shipping in March too.
