Haley Bush grew up in the small Mississippi town of Rolling Fork. She earned a Bachelor’s in Nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi and worked as a neonatal nurse for several years. After meeting her prince charming, she got married, and began her toughest job this far… motherhood. She feels blessed with the opportunity to stay at home full-time and raise her three children near Jackson, MS. Haley believes that God has given all of us unique gifts. Her faith has led her to pursue her artistic career. After adopting her son from China, she felt God asking her to do more with the artistic gifts he had given her. Haley became aware of the brokenness and pain taking place all over the world in millions of orphaned children’s hearts, and felt a calling to do something to raise awareness. Driven with the purpose to bring light, love and awareness, Haley picked up her paintbrush, and “Haley B Designs” began. A self-taught artist, Haley has enjoyed painting and creating since she was very young. She uses a variety of acrylic paints and texture mediums on both canvas and wood, and paints with both brushes and palette knives. She also enjoys mixed media work, using gold leaf and book pages. Haley’s art inspiration flows from her strong faith and southern roots. Old hymns, scripture, and worship music are a huge inspiration for her. She loves all things vintage and rustic, barns, old churches, farm animals, and farm life. All of these themes are evident in her heartfelt paintings.
